VSO at the Flynn: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Celebrate Halloween with a spine-tingling orchestral matinee! From the mischievous magic of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Paul Dukas to eerie selections from Symphonie fantastique by Hector Berlioz and Michael Abels’ film score for NOPE, this program conjures thrills and chills. Hear music from Danny Elfman, Michael Daugherty, and Dorothy Howell—a hauntingly fun concert perfect for all ages.

The concert begins at 3:00 p.m. and is preceded at 2:00 p.m. by Musically Speaking, a free pre-concert discussion that provides entertaining insight into the evening’s program.
