SUMMARY:Juicebox at Higher Ground
DESCRIPTION:Tickets for this event are SOLD OUT \nWait – did you say Juicebox or Jukebox??? \nWe definitely said Juicebox! Bring the kids along to this brand new show designed for both children and parents. Our Jukebox String Quartet transforms into the Juicebox String Quartet\, and this time it’s all about how feelings and music go together. Geared towards ages 10 and under\, this show features interactive spots for the audience\, music set to The Feelings Book by NY Times best-selling author Todd Parr\, some musical jokes\, and (most importantly) dedicated wiggle and dance time for the little ones. And since this is a Juicebox show after all\, each child will receive a complimentary juicebox as they enter! \nBrooke Quiggins Saulnier and Aleksandra Labinska\, violin\nStefanie Taylor\, viola\nJohn Dunlop\, cello\nMatt LaRocca\, curator and host \nTickets are $5 for kids\, $10 for adults and can be purchased via Higher Ground in January 2023. \nDoors open at 3:30\, show begins at 4:00 pm. \n

SUMMARY:Jukebox at Merchants Hall (18+)
DESCRIPTION:Tickets for this event are SOLD OUT \nJukebox presents an adults-only program that features music and composers that are scandalous\, depraved\, and decidedly adult – no kids allowed at this one! It’s a fun\, entertaining\, and slightly bawdy adults only show that’s got it all. We’re including Baroque masters such as Bach and Gesualdo\, a piece showcasing the other side of Mozart\, some folksy Percy Grainger that we hear in a new light…and a good helping of sex\, drugs and murder. You know\, it’s just like your typical chamber music concert. \nBrooke Quiggins Saulnier and Aleksandra Labinska\, violin\nStefanie Taylor\, viola\nJohn Dunlop\, cello\nMatt LaRocca\, curator and host \nExpect coarse language and adult themes 18+   \nThe performance will be at Merchants Hall in Rutland. Please note that this venue is BYOB. Doors open at 7pm. \nSingle tickets available on a sliding scale starting at $10. \n  \nThis concert is made possible by Kristi & Sandy Bragg in memory of Ann M. Bragg and the Northfield Savings Bank Innovation Fund

SUMMARY:VSO at the Flynn: Riots and Prayers
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets Here.  \nVSO Music Director candidate Sarah Ioannides launches the season with an excitingly diverse program\, beginning with sounds of the Caribbean in Gershwin’s ridiculously fun Cuban Overture. The world premiere of Riots and Prayers by composer Daniel Bernard Roumain\, a commission spearheaded by the VSO\, The Flynn and the UVM Lane Series in 2020\, completes the concert’s first half.
