SUMMARY:Summer Festival Tour 2025: Shelburne
DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s concert will be OUTDOORS at Shelburne Museum. \nThere will be limited advance price tickets available on the day of the show at Shelburne Museum from 1pm – 3pm (in person only). Tickets will also be available at the gate starting from 5:30 until we sell out. \nCome feel the love with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra as we embark on our 2025 Summer Festival Tour. This year’s dynamic program\, Summer of Love\, features works from across the world and a range of genres\, including pieces from Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet\, John Williams’ Star Wars Theme\, Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story\, and pop hits such as “I Put A Spell On You” and “Nature Boy.” This summer the VSO welcomes mezzo Nikola Printz as the tour’s special guest vocalist.  \nAn annual VSO tradition\, the Summer Festival Tour celebrates music\, community\, and the summer season. This year’s tour will take place from July 1-6\, 2025 in the following locations: Castleton\, Grafton\, East Burke\, South Pomfret\, Shelburne\, and Stowe. All locations will include VSO’s Musical Petting Zoo where the audience can explore a variety of orchestral instruments\, available before the performances\, and Shelburne’s concert features fireworks at the close of the program. \nEVENT DETAILS & THINGS TO KNOW \nShelburne Museum\n6000 Shelburne Rd\, Shelburne \nGates open at 5:30 pm for picnicking\nConcert begins at 7:30 pm\, followed by fireworks \nAdvance Ticket Prices:\nAdults: $33\nAges 6-17: $5\n5 and under: Free \nGate Prices:\nAdults: $40\nAges 6-17: $5\n5 and under: Free \nRain site: Shelburne Field House 166 Athletic Drive\, Shelburne\, VT \nWe encourage you to bring:\n– A picnic blanket or folding chairs\n– Sunscreen & sunglasses\n– Insect repellant\n– Water\n– Whatever you need to comfortably enjoy the outdoors \nSun umbrellas are welcome until the start of the concert. Flashlights are also suggested to help you find your way to your car after the sun has set.
