F.A.Q.’S
How do the donations work?
Fermata Society donations are made through monthly charges to a credit or debit card. The gift amount is prorated on the day of your gift and then the full amount is charged on the 15th day of the month.
Can I make a change to my donation amount?
Yes! Once you’ve registered for the Fermata Society, you can login to your account and update your monthly gift. You may also contact the office to make a change to your account.
Can I designate my gift for a specific purpose?
Yes. While unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund are our greatest need, we are happy to designate your gifts to other areas including SymphonyKids and the VSO Chorus. At this time, we do not currently support gifts to our endowment funds through the Fermata Society.
Can I join the Bravo Society and the Fermata Society?
Of course! The Bravo Society of Leadership Giving begins at an annual contribution of $2,500. By making a monthly contribution of $210, you not only will be joining the Bravo Society through a budget-friendly option, but also the Fermata Society by sustaining your giving at that level.
Do I need to renew my gift annually?
No. By joining the Fermata Society, your giving will continue on a monthly basis without an end date. If you would like to make a change, simply login to your account through our website. There you can update your credit or debit card, billing address, and giving amount. You may also contact the office if you have any questions or need to make a change.
When will I receive a summary of my gifts for taxes?
At the beginning of each calendar year, we will send you a summary of your giving for the past year. At any time, you may login to your account to view your giving history or contact the office.
What if I just want to make a one-time donation?
You can! While monthly donations help us plan for our future, we also welcome one-time donations. Fermata Society members giving on a monthly basis can also make an additional one-time donation at any time. You can make a one-time donation here.
