Sandeep Das & Ishmael Bangoura Drumming Circle
VSO is excited to co-host a free intergenerational cross-cultural healing drumming circle and class featuring Sandeep Das and drummer Ishmael Bangoura, with Clemmons Family Farm. It’s a joyful gathering for seniors, toddlers, and everyone in-between! Capacity is limited to 25 attendees, so reserve your spot early.

The VSO’s September 26 concert at The Flynn in Burlington and the September 27 concert at the Paramount Theater in Rutland feature Sandeep Das (tabla) and Rajib Karmakar (sitar), and compositions by Ravi Shankar, Dinuk Wijeratne, and Das in the first half, with Mussorgsky/Ravel’s Pictures at an Exhibition in the second half. Student tickets are $10, and general admission starts at $30 plus fees/taxes. Discounts available for groups of 10 or more.
